A channel distinguishes counter sales from sales for a provider. It has a name, an active state and an optional logo. Creating a channel does not automatically connect an external platform or publish your catalogue.

Use an account allowed to manage settings, on the correct connected register. Prepare the prices of the products and extras involved. Check the modules required for external or online orders separately.
Create or edit a channel
Open Sales channels in administration or menu management.
Choose New channel, enter a distinct name and set its active state.
Add a logo if needed. In BO, use an image smaller than 10 MB.
Save and check that the channel appears in the list.
Use the pencil to change its name or logo. Disable it to stop using it. Deleting requires confirmation: prefer disabling if you want to keep it.
Set prices
In each product editor, enter the channel prices for the offered formats. Also check paid extras and suggested products: their prices can depend on the channel. Included choices and removed ingredients do not become paid extras simply because a channel is selected.
Check an order
Select the appropriate channel on the register.
Check each line price, customisations and total before confirming.
If a product or price is unavailable for that channel, correct its configuration; do not assume the counter price will apply.
If saving fails, refresh the list before creating the channel again. Its name may have been saved even if the logo upload failed.
Remember
The channel describes commercial origin and pricing. It is not evidence of provider payment or a connection to its service. Reconcile amounts with actual payment records.
