The license determines the functions granted to your register. Selected business activity, employee permissions, version and hardware configuration then determine what can be used.
Check the license
Open Admin → Licenses in POSCaisse or System → Licenses in the BO. Check the store and register, status, expiry, active modules and limits. Refresh with the license-management permission.
Current modules
| Module | Purpose |
|---|---|
| POSCaisse Core | Sales, payments, receipts and reports. |

| Bakery | Customer orders and workshop according to granted capabilities. |
| Retail | Retail catalog, variants, sales and management. |
| Grocery and supermarkets | Grocery tools: PLU, lots, dates and waste according to capabilities. Requires Retail. |
| Kitchen display KDS | Kitchen displays and configured stations. |
| Table reservations | Table reservations included in core; no separate module request. |
| Online orders | Receive and track online orders. |
| Local multi-register | Primary and secondary registers within the authorized scope. |
| Multi-devices (PDA) | Companion devices, subject to quotas and pairing. |
| Customer kiosk | Customer self-service ordering kiosk. |
| Shared server screen | Order taking from a station shared by servers. |
| External mini-server | Connection to the installation’s configured external server. |

Request a change
Open the module request in the PosAdmin linking workflow.
Select the required functions. Core remains required; Grocery and supermarkets also selects Retail.
Submit the request and wait for processing. A request does not change the installed license.
Synchronize or install the issued license, then check the modules actually active and their quotas. Cloud backup has its own subscription workflow.
Check the function’s permissions and settings. If it is still absent, verify the register’s profile and capabilities before submitting another request.
Ecosystem and limits
POSCaisse handles sales; POSBackOffice provides browser management; PosPDA and PosShared take orders; PosBorne provides self-service ordering; kitchen displays track preparation. Enabling a module does not automatically configure these devices.
Quotas can limit registers, PDAs, kiosks and displays. Cloud and local access do not necessarily expose the same screens. The Cloud backup module alone does not authorize stock transfers.
Fiscal traceability functions do not constitute NF525 certification: it has not been obtained.
