PADERFSUITE GUIDES

Understanding lots, dates and waste

This guide explains the available features. Visible tabs and actions depend on enabled modules and your permissions.

Detailed manuals and practical procedures for all eight activities. Available functions depend on your installation’s profile, modules and permissions.

Lots and dates

What is this tab for?

Find a product by lot and location, with its available quantity, dates and status. Lots come from stock receipts: this screen does not create products or receipts.

Example: you receive yogurts from lot L240. Check their date and remaining quantity here. Critical restricts the list to critical alerts.

Use the actions offered on a card as appropriate: quarantine a lot for inspection, block its sale, recall it or mark it expired. Release is offered only for compatible statuses. Record waste registers a quantity actually removed from stock. Each action retains its validation and reason.

Recalls

What is this tab for?

Review recorded recalls, their reason, date and affected sales. Start a recall from the lot card in Lots and dates.

Example: a supplier recalls lot L240. After recording the recall, review its impact here. Sales linked to the exact lot are distinguished from potentially affected sales: presumed matches need checking.

Active shows only active recalls. The impact filter cycles through all impacts, exact links and presumed links. This tab does not automatically refund customers or resolve a recall.

Waste and corrections

What is this tab for?

Review recorded waste: product, location, quantity, reason and date. Cost is visible only with the relevant permission.

Example: three yogurts are damaged. In Lots and dates, choose Record waste on the correct lot, enter the quantity and reason, then confirm. The loss appears here.

The reason filter cycles through available reasons; Corrected shows corrected records. If a validated loss is wrong, use Correct when offered and enter a reason. Correction preserves a record of the original operation; it does not erase it.

Search and filter

Enter a product name, SKU or lot, then tap the magnifying glass or the keyboard Search key. Filters apply immediately; tap again to change their value. Reset clears the search and all filters. Refresh reloads the data.

Before confirming

Check the lot, location, quantity and reason. Local or remote approval remains required when your role demands it. If an error or network interruption occurs, do not assume the action succeeded: read the message and refresh the list.
