Retail purchasing uses retail products and variants, their units and stock locations. It is separate from kitchen ingredient purchasing.
Check the printed output
Purpose: track label requests and print jobs independently of purchase entry.
Read print readiness. No configured printer means a label printer is missing, not merely a receipt printer. A selected printer may also be disconnected or require a validation test.
With the required permissions, configure hardware and media and run the proposed test. Confirm only after physically seeing legible output. A test on continuous receipt paper does not qualify die-cut labels or gap detection.
Filters distinguish pending jobs, retries, uncertain prints, completed prints and template/configuration blocks.
Run queue attempts pending jobs. Refresh / Retry reloads status. Check paper, connection, format and template before repeating attempts.
Uncertain means software cannot confirm physical output. Check the printer first. Use the resolution action to confirm output or authorize a retry, with the requested reason.
Reprint creates another print with required permissions and any approval. It is not another goods receipt and must not be used to correct stock.
Revoking hardware qualification withdraws the current test evidence; repeat the required check before continuing this print flow.
A label failure never justifies re-entering an already validated delivery. Find the receipt and handle the relevant print job.
